Join us for the next session of MashUp, an innovative speaker series that brings together
experts from vastly different fields for engaging and thought-provoking discussions.
The event will take place on Tuesday, March 25, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. on the second floor of
Albertsons Library in The SPACE. This season’s theme, “Booms and Busts,” examines the
cycles of innovation, progress, and challenges at the intersection of technology and human
experience.

This session will feature Nate Purpura, Vice President of Marketing at Zerigo Health, who will
explore the balance between stability and innovation, using experiences in journalism, PR, and
health marketing to illustrate how industries navigate disruption and adapt to change. Omiya
Hassan, Assistant Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Boise State, will discuss
the design of energy-efficient computers to meet the growing demands of AI.

Though these topics may seem unrelated, audience members will uncover surprising
connections through an interactive Q&A session. Seating is limited, and attendees are
