Visual Arts Center – Gallery One (Liberal Arts Building). The Visual Arts Center gallery at Boise State University has organized the exhibition Crafting Resistance featuring the work of twenty artists from around the United States as well as Canada and Mexico whose work creates awareness of political issues, examines issues of racial and social justice, or calls for change in environmental issues and human and equal rights. Each of the artists works in a unique and powerful voice utilizing the medias of ceramics, metal, wood, found materials, printmaking, or fiber art. The exhibition was curated by Visual Arts Center gallery director Kirsten Furlong, firstname.lastname@example.org. The opening reception will be held Jan. 26 from 5-8 p.m.
