This workshop will introduce participants to affordable learning materials and open educational resources. Participants will consider the ways that affordable learning materials represent an opportunity to rethink their courses around the needs of students and learn about avenues to pursue doing so.

• Understand the role that the cost of course materials plays in achieving equity and student success
• Assess the relevance of various types of affordable learning materials in your courses
• Implement affordable learning materials in the context of an active, collaborative approach to teaching and learning
