The Boise State Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Prof. Craig Purdy, presents “The Traveler,” a musical journey through the works of Schubert, his Overture to Rosamunde; two arias by W.A. Mozart, “Un bacio di mano” and “Non piu andrai” from the opera The Marriage of Figaro, and closing with Rimsky-Korsakov’s most beloved and exotic, Scheherazade.
Guest artists include Lynn Berg, baritone, and James Ogle, conductor.
Admission is $7 for adults, $5 for seniors. Children, non-Boise State students of any age (with ID), and Boise State faculty, staff and students with ID are admitted free. All concert proceeds fund Boise State Music Scholarships.
Parking for non-Boise State parking permit holders attending events in the Morrison Center Main Hall is available just south of the Morrison Center. Just follow the signs and/or parking attendant’s directions.
