April 19: Engaging Students Through Role Immersion in the Classroom

Noon. Interactive Learning Center, room 315. “Reacting to the Past” is a pedagogical approach to supporting student learning and engagement through immersion in a role playing simulation. Nationally, it has been used successfully in many disciplines – from history and humanities to science.

At Boise State, several faculty have been exploring its use in history and humanities. Come hear how professors Lisa McClain and Elizabeth Cook have used this approach in this Teaching and Learning Spotlight.

This event is intended for faculty; please bring your lunch.
