Would you like to learn more about the experiences of Boise State students with disabilities? Then join us for this session in which Boise State graduate Lauren Sichenze will share her research on disability in higher education broadly, and the Boise State student experience specifically. The goal of Lauren’s research is to shed light on what disability in higher education looks like, the struggles that the disabled community faces, and the ways both higher education institutions as well as faculty can continue to grow to better support disabled students.

At the end of this session, you will be able to:

  • Identify common challenges that students with disabilities face
  • Explain strategies that educators can use to support these students (and all students)

Facilitated by Lauren Sichenze, Boise State Graduate
