What to expect:

• Time dedicated to open networking, where attendees can connect with alumni and students to expand their networks and exchange ideas. 
• An opportunity to have your resume reviewed by a career counselor from Career Services, offering valuable feedback and tips to help you stand out.
• An opportunity to get a free professional headshot through popcam.
• Light hors d'oeuvres and refreshments available throughout the event.

In an interactive kickoff session, Boise State alum, former Bronco athlete, and founder of Renaldo & Co., Megan Renaldo, will show you how to leverage your natural strengths and authentic personality to build real connections. Networking doesn’t have to feel awkward or forced. It can actually feel natural (even energizing!) when you stop trying to “network” and start showing up as yourself.

You’ll:

• Ditch the small talk that goes nowhere
• Practice connecting in a low-pressure environment
• Build confidence in starting and leading conversations
• Walk away with go-to questions you can use in any room, anytime

By the time open networking starts, you’ll be ready to hit the ground running — clear on what you bring and comfortable starting the conversation.

A limited number of attendees will have the opportunity to receive complimentary access to the CliftonStrengths assessment to continue exploring and applying their strengths beyond the event.

The event is free to attend, but registration is required.
