Monday–Thursday: 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and Friday 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Visual Arts Center. This year’s exhibition will feature a variety of work from twenty-three visual art, art education, and illustration students. Works range from ceramics, drawing and painting, illustration, performance art, photography, printmaking, and sculpture. Free refreshments and parking will be provided for the opening reception and admission to the gallery is free.
Among the works of these artists will be altered landscape and object photography by Tyler Dougal, illustrations by Amy Hildebrandt which focus on women in mythology, the ethereal photography of Kate Manning, and a “Bottle” series of ink paintings by Erika Hunt. Also included are self care based fabrics designed, sewn into modern apparel, and illustrated by Carley Rowley and a series of mixed media paintings and photographs by Bailey Russell. There will also be a live performance by Candace Rood throughout the exhibition which includes handmade bricks.
