Facilitated by Cara Walker. Cara is executive director for development in the Division of University Advancement. In her role, she is responsible for broadening Boise State’s base of philanthropic support among alumni, parents, friends, faculty, staff and students. She develops and manages a comprehensive annual giving program that includes soliciting key constituencies through personal solicitations, phone, direct mail, e-mail, online, social media, crowdfunding and other mechanisms. Previously, she served as the senior director for annual giving at Boise State and held roles as community and government relations manager at Albertsons and Supervalu, and development administrator at the Idaho State Historical Society. Cara is a proud alumna with a B.A. in English and political science.
