This class is designed for children of all ages and their parent or guardian. The American Red Cross Water Safety course for Parents and Caregivers familiarizes children to the water and teaches swimming readiness skills. This Water Safety course gives parents/guardians safety information and teaches techniques to help orient their children to the water. It also provides direction regarding how to supervise water activities in a responsible manner. With the parent or guardian in the water with the child, these courses are a bonding experience that will create wonderful lifelong memories. These classes are scheduled once a month on Saturdays at 10am.
